Call was obsessive about design. Will take it is a compliment.

The new beetle is definitely unique. But, like the rest of our family, it follows in the footsteps of a great Volkswagen tradition - namely, the careful balancing of geometry and emotion. Check out the roofline. It's smooth, uninterrupted, and looks like it's been shaped with a single study stroke. The fenders swoop over the wheels and across the body, giving the impression their wind and the same. Speaking of the body, look at how seamless it is. That's what happens when the gaps are no wider than 3.5 mm. Needless to say, anything you might think is minor detail, is huge to us.

Headlamps

Thanks to their unique shape, they've been known to light up a smile or two. Courtesy of some projector clear lens halogens, they've also been known to light up the road ahead.

  16" Alloys

More rim and less tire provide better cornering and more accurate terms. This seven - spoke design also evokes strength and momentum even when the car is at a red light. So you were moving when you're standing still. Kind of.

  Speed Activated Spoiler

As the name suggests, it pops up, providing additional control when you're in a rush to return that overdue video. Otherwise, it remains inconspicuously tucked away. (We like a smooth roofline, remember?)
