TDI

The TDI. Oh, the links we'll travel to make everything better.

Saving fuel has always been to thing going for diesel engines. What's always gone against them, though, is the unfriendly smell the unit and their somewhat sluggish performance. Well, it's time to say Auf Wiedersehen to the old days. Here's how you'll get the benefits of diesel without any trade-offs. By making air swirl as it enters the engine cylinders, air molecules mix more thoroughly with fuel - providing improved performance, better mileage, and reduced emissions. What's more, instead of mixing air and fuel separately, the TDI injects fuel directly into one chamber. (Quite unique.) The benefit is exceptional smoothness and power. Throw in the Turbo charger and you're laughing between gas stations at either end of the country*

Air Swirl

By reshaping the parts that bring in air, we figured out a way to make the air swirl as it enters the combustion chamber. That's important because, for a diesel engine, you're getting incredibly thorough and efficient combustion. And lower emissions in a super-big way.

  Direct Injection

Look to the TDI for improved power, efficiency, and smoothness. It directly injects atomized molecules of diesel fuel into the combustion chamber, were fuel is instantly mixed with swirling intake air. Bingo. More power, efficiency, and smooth delivery right your doorstep.
